Celebrity Color Seasons

These are estimates, not verdicts. A celebrity typing is made from published photographs under unknown lighting, usually with makeup and almost always with dyed hair, which are the three biggest sources of error in color analysis. They are useful for one thing, and it is a genuinely useful thing: seeing what a season looks like on a face you already know.

Questions people ask

How accurate are celebrity color season typings?
Less accurate than an analysis of your own face, and they should be read as estimates. Stage and studio lighting, professional makeup and hair colour all move the reading, and different analysts publish different answers for the same person.
Why do different sites give the same celebrity different seasons?
Because they are working from different photographs, and often from different systems. A four season analyst and a twelve season analyst will disagree by construction, and two photographs of the same person under different lights can genuinely support different readings.
