Which seasons are cool

Six of the twelve are cool or cool leaning: the three Summers and the three Winters. True Summer and True Winter are the purely cool ones. Light Summer, Soft Summer, Dark Winter and Bright Winter are neutral cool, cool enough for silver to win but able to carry some warmer shades.

Being cool narrows you to six seasons. Depth and clarity then decide which, and they matter more than most undertone advice admits: a Light Summer and a Bright Winter are both cool and share almost no colors.

What to avoid
